Bulletin Board

renamed Charnwood Chat

The Charnwood Chat is now ready to use. It is a great way for members to communicate with each.  It was felt that this new name more closely reflects what this new on-line tool is meant to achieve.

Charnwood Chat allows members to share ideas, seek help, offer tips or ask for clarification about anything that affects your membership of Charnwood U3A.

Click here to read more and for a guide on how to start your first post!.

Setting up Virtual Meetings

You will be pleased to hear that we have found a way in which you can hold meetings without leaving your house - a Virtual Meeting or a Video Conference

We think you only need basic IT skills and a bit of help from the meeting organiser to make it work so why not give it a go.

Click here to see how it works - with instructions on how to set it up

How to use SKYPE, WEBEX and ZOOM are now available

Loughborough Against Corona

You may already have had a leaflet put through your letter box but in case you haven't or have lost it. A group of Loughborough Students are coming together to help in the community. They are not asking for anything in return but want to do their bit to help in a time of difficulty.

They will help with the following:

Picking up Groceries         A Friendly Phone Call                       Posting Mail

Dog Walking                      Collecting Urgent Supplies              Running Errands

Click here and then on I NEED HELP to see how it works

This is a national student initiative and you fill in a form to get the help you need.  The help you get will come from Loughborough Students.

They would prefer you fill in the form BUT if you would rather speak to someone then telephone 07377 372740
