Next Monthly Meeting - "The Story of 3M in Loughborough"

with Rosalind Smith

2:30pm, Wednesday 11th February 2020

Rosalind will talk about the formation of 3M in America and how it came to Loughborough, what a multi-faceted company it is and what is its philosophy.

3M started in 1902 as a small scale mining venture in North Minnesota, then named Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. Today its name is synonymous with scientific, technical and marketing innovations.

How did this company end up in Loughborough? Rosalind will explain all.

Please do not arrive before 2:00 pm and bring your membership card with you.
