The Last Laugh with Jean Townsend
on Wednesday 10th July
Laugh” examines the lighter side of grave stone inscriptions. Jean
Townsend is a social historian with a particular interest in the late
medieval early Tudor period, a semiretired adult education tutor, a tour
organiser and private researcher. She comes highly recommended and will
be with us on 10th July 2019.

You will be aware that parking in front of
the church is very limited but there are other church-owned parking
sign in at the U3A desk inside the church if you park in one of
these church parking spaces.

On 14th August 2019 we have an old sea dog in
the shape of Neville Maggs who will enlighten us about “Adventures in
the Round the World Yacht race”.
