Monthly Meetings which are free for members

are held at

Emmanuel Church, Forest Road, Loughborough

Charnwood U3A has a general meeting once a month, on the second Wednesday at 2:30pm, where a brief business meeting is followed by the main business of hearing an invited speaker.  Around a 100 members attend the meetings and after the talk you are welcome to stay and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.

What my Mother and Father Used to Say

with Paul Newsham

2:30pm, Wednesday 13th November 2019

Please note that we have a change of talk for our November Monthly Meeting when we are pleased to welcome back Paul Newsham whose topic will entertain us with a talk about "What his Mother and Father used to say".

Paul was a hit last year with his first talk to us and so he is on the list for a return on a totally different subject.  We can probably guess how that will go.

Please do not arrive before 2:00 pm and bring your membership card with you.

(NOTE: we have rescheduled Nicky Morgan for April 2020)

On Wednesday 11th December 2019 we have been fortunate to book

LSU Sings, the Loughborough Students Choir.

They are very highly valued and we look forward to a wonderful afternoon of entertainment.
