CHESS - Restarted On
Monday 21st June, 2 pm:
Meet at GL's house

It has been a long time since the u3a Chess Group were able to gather together for a session of chess guaranteed to test brainpower - March 2020 in fact.

But now, at long last, a date has been set to resume battle on the chess boards, Monday, June 21st - which just happens to be the planned official day when all Covid restrictions are to be lifted. Of course, this is all with fingers firmly crossed that events won’t be jerked into reverse gear in the meantime.

Some members may well have been playing chess online, but I am sure all will agree, nothing beats the real thing, face to face.

The Chess Group is a small group and meetings are held at each other’s houses every. other Monday at 2pm.
