We are a friendly group who are keen to learn about and share our enthusiasm for the fascinating world of architecture and the built environment. This group is for anyone interested in all aspects of architecture and architects. We aim to discover more about architecture in all its forms in a relaxed and welcoming environment, sharing our enthusiasm and learning from each other. You don’t need any specialist knowledge of architecture to join our group – everyone’s ideas and opinions are valued and welcome.

Most meetings take the form of illustrated talks looking at a wide range of topics relating to architecture old and new. We offer a varied programme with presentations by outside speakers and group members, group activities and discussions, and occasional trips to buildings of interest.

You will not usually be required to bring anything, although you may choose to do a little research for some themed meetings.
