This Group is held at 2pm on the first Wednesday of the month in various members' houses in Loughborough. There is no cost apart from a small charge for the drink.
The finishing time is flexible, depending on how the discussion goes. We start with tea or coffee and biscuits and after a short time for general chat, we discuss the designated book which we will have read beforehand.
Each member will have the chance to propose a book and will then introduce it to the others, perhaps telling a bit about the author and why it was chosen. Then everyone is free to add to the discussion.
Books are obtained in different ways, charity shops, Amazon, ABE books, borrowing, sharing, or even Waterstones! Before choosing a book it's important to check if it's easily available.
