Hola y bienvenido al grupo de conversación en español.
This group is intended for all members to have the opportunity to practice speaking and listening in Spanish, doesn't matter if you are a beginner or already have some knowledge of the language, the important thing is that you come along with enthusiasm and have a go.
Before each session, all members are given a topic or theme around which to structure the conversation. This allows for refreshing vocabulary and revising appropriate grammar, if desired. Many members prepare notes, however; the main aim is to have conversations - to listen, ask questions, make comments and understand responses. Making mistakes is expected and we try to help each other as much as possible and have fun along the way.
Many members take advantage of the facilities at Gorse Covet for a coffee and a chat before and after the session making for a pleasant social occasion.
The group meets on the first Thursday of every month with the exception of January.
